Medina Valley ISD breaks ground for High School No. 2

_{With the passing of Bond 2023, (May 2023) signifying rapid and massive growth, Medina Valley ISD breaks ground on its second High School after opening more than six decades ago.}

_{The district held a groundbreaking ceremony November 9, 2023,  on the future high school site near Potranco Road and 381 County Road. District Superintendent Dr. Scott Caloss, Bartlett Cocke CEO James Anderson and O’Connell Robertson Associate Principal Danny Cornejo spoke about this special time for the district.}

_{“This is a big day for us and just a little of a lot to come,” said Dr. Caloss. “I think this is just a very attractive area, on top of being a very high performing school district – that’s what families are looking for these days.”}

Bond Dollars at Work: August 2024

_{Medina Valley ISD is the 5th fastest growing school district in the state, growing between 10 to 15 percent each school year. With this growth, our community has approved two recent bond proposals, one in May 2023 and one in May 2024.
