Special Education
Special education provides instructional and related services specially designed around the unique needs of students identified with disabilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Medina Valley ISD offers a full continuum of special education services to support students with disabilities ages 3-21. Decisions regarding the type of services, frequency and duration, and location of services are made by the Admission, Review, and Dismissal committee. These decisions are individualized to meet the needs of the student, and are based on data unique to the student.
