United States Congressman, Will Hurd, visited Medina Valley High School on Feb. 23rd
to discuss current issues and answer questions to over 300 senior
students. Hurd, who represents Congressional District 23, took office on
Jan. 1, 2015, and is the first Black republican elected to congress
from Texas. He discussed current legislative issues, answered questions
from students and spoke about the importance of voting and being
involved in the democratic voting system.
