MVISD Announces New Campus Principals

Medina Valley ISD is proud to announce the appointments of three campus principals for the 2017-2018 school year. Mr. Thomas Grajek has been named principal of Potranco Elementary, Mrs. Georgia Neuman principal of Luckey Ranch Elementary, and Mrs. Julie Center principal of the new middle school. Luckey Ranch Elementary and the new middle school will open for the 18-19 school year. Mrs. Neuman and Mrs. Center will work this coming year to prepare those campuses to open.

Mr. Thomas Grajek most recently served as principal of Faulk-Kieberger Elementary School in the Aransas Pass Independent School District. He has held numerous administrative and teaching positions in his career. He is retired from the United States Army. Mr. Grajek holds a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Texas State University.

Mrs. Neuman has worked for the past four years for the Edgewood Independent School District, serving as both a principal and assistant principal. She also has administrative experience in Hondo ISD and Southwest ISD. Additionally, she has many years of middle school and elementary school teaching experience. Mrs. Neuman holds a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University.

Mrs. Julie Center has served as Medina Valley Middle School Vice-Principal for the past three years. She has also served as both a middle school and high school counselor, special education teacher, and coach and physical education teacher. Mrs. Center holds a Master of Science Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Texas A&M University – Kingsville and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a Special Education teaching endorsement from Texas A&M – Kingsville.

A “Meet the Principal” event will be scheduled at Potranco Elementary in August to introduce these three new principals to students, parents, and the community.
